It's not easy to remember that we have the ability to exert conscious control over our thoughts, reactions and behaviours. The more that we set our intentions (for the day, for a particular setting; eg a meeting, for our life) the greater the chance we have to transform our anxious minds and find more ease, freedom and peace.
